I never thought it was possible to feel confident to navigate my career.
My manager kept changing. My team continued to re-org. The escalations kept coming. I was sacrificing my personal life to hustle more at work.
I enjoyed my job, but the never ending anxiety that kept me from ever really taking a break was not sustainable.
Then out of the blue, I was told I was a top performer, but my position was being eliminated.
I had a family to support.
I felt so helpless, but I knew there had to be a better way.
Good news. There is!
I learned how to be confident even though I can’t control what happens.
I found a new position and continue to be a leader that confidently owns my career.
I could tell you all the little hacks.
What it really comes down to is confidence.
There’s a belief that confidence is something you have or you don’t. But just like learning how to provide good feedback or manage a project.
Confidence is a skill you have to learn and practice.
As a certified life coach, I work with clients 1:1 and teach them how to be more confident no matter what circumstance they are in. Start by grabbing time on my calendar so we can come up with a plan together to help you start feeling more confident.
